I provide emotional and physical support at home while monitoring your blood pressure, fetal heart tones, and labor assessments such as cervical dilation, educational and physical support at the hospital of your choice, and continued midwifery care once you and your baby are back home.

As your monitrice, I offer a unique blend of clinical insight and emotional support during labor. I monitor your well-being in early labor—tracking vitals, fetal heart tones, and labor progression—while also providing the continuous reassurance, comfort measures, and informed guidance you’d expect from a doula. As a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) in Hawai‘i, I don’t bill insurance directly, but many families are able to receive partial reimbursement through their private insurance or health-sharing plans. I provide a detailed superbill upon request to help with this process. Medicaid (Med-QUEST) and TRICARE currently do not cover CPM services. To make care more accessible, I also offer flexible payment plans—just let me know what works best for your family and we’ll find an option that fits.
03. Are you comfortable supporting women and birthing people from different background whose first language may not be English?
I was born and raised in Germany and while I learned English in school at a very young age I still remember how hard it was to express myself and my feelings when I first lived in the US. While I may not know your first language I will be very patient and make sure all your needs are addressed with express kindness.
