Oahu Postpartum Midwifery Care

Your birth journey doesn’t end after delivery- it’s only the beginning of a powerful transformation. At Wunderbirth, we honor the postpartum period as a time of healing, bonding, and deep adjustment. Our postpartum care is designed to nurture your body and mind, and help you feel confident as you step into parenthood.

Compassionate, in-home support for your healing journey.

Care for the Fourth Trimester

Personalized Feeding Support

In-Home Visits (7 total)

I come to you—so you can rest, recover, and focus on bonding. Each visit includes physical recovery checks, breastfeeding support, newborn assessments, emotional wellness check-ins, and time to ask questions. Visits are paced to support your healing at key intervals: typically at 24 hours, 48 hours, 5 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks postpartum.

Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or formula feeding -  I am here to help you navigate it with confidence. You can expect judgment-free guidance tailored to your goals.

I offer emotional support, preparation for newborn development, and focused guidance to help you master breastfeeding with confidence. These early weeks are tender, transformative, and meant to be shared. Don’t forget: it takes a village.

Too often, postpartum is overlooked. But how you are supported after birth directly impacts how you feel physically, emotionally, and even relationally in this new chapter. With Wunderbirth, you don’t have to go through it alone. We’re here to offer continuity of care - with the same warmth and presence you felt during your birth.

01. Do you accept insurance or offer payment plans?

As a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) in Hawai‘i, I don’t bill insurance directly, but many families are able to receive partial reimbursement through their private insurance or health-sharing plans. I provide a detailed superbill upon request to help with this process. Medicaid (Med-QUEST) and TRICARE currently do not cover CPM services. To make care more accessible, I also offer flexible payment plans—just let me know what works best for your family and we’ll find an option that fits.

02. How do you feel about supporting non-binary people or relationships that challenge the notion of the traditional nuclear family?

I proudly support the LGBTQIA+ and non-binary communities to live, laugh and love in whichever way they please. My care is intentionally inclusive. It would be my pleasure to Doula families where the relationship dynamic is non-conventional or challenges the status quo. My concern is being the best Doula I can possibly be for YOU – whoever you might be.

03. Are you comfortable supporting women and birthing people from different background whose first language may not be English?

I was born and raised in Germany and while I learned English in school at a very young age I still remember how hard it was to express myself and my feelings when I first lived in the US. While I may not know your first language I will be very patient and make sure all your needs are addressed with express kindness.
